Privacy Policy

This website is operated by Preet Johal (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We offer a digital workbook and private 1:1 coaching for women navigating difficult or abusive relationships. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at hello@preetjohal.com.

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

• Email address — collected during Stripe checkout (required for your receipt and purchase access), on the thank-you page if you choose to identify yourself, optionally on the workbook cover, and when you request your Clarity Map and letter by email at completion.
• Name — if you provide it during checkout, booking, or email signup.
• Payment information— card and billing details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout page. We do not receive or store your full card number.
• Workbook progress— your answers, reflections, and page progress are saved in your browser's local storage on your device. They are not automatically uploaded to our servers.
• Formatted workbook results — if you finish the workbook and choose to receive your results by email, a plain-text Clarity Map and closing letter are sent to our email service. You may optionally include your written reflections in that email.
• Booking details — when you schedule coaching through Calendly, we receive the information you submit there (such as name, email, and session time).
• Technical data — our hosting provider may process standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) to operate and secure the site.

We use a small number of cookies to run purchases and workbook access:

• Workbook unlock (pj_workbook_unlock) — confirms you have paid for the workbook. Expires after 90 days.
• Buyer identification (pj_buyer) — remembers your email on this device so you do not have to re-enter it. Expires after 90 days.

These cookies are httpOnly and used only for access and identification on this site. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

• Deliver digital products and coaching you purchase.
• Send transactional and optional follow-up emails (such as a return link, your Clarity Map, or coaching reminders).
• Schedule and confirm coaching sessions.
• Respond to your messages and support requests.
• Improve the site and understand how products are used.
• Meet legal, accounting, or security obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your workbook answers for advertising.

We rely on trusted providers to operate the business:

• Stripe — payment processing. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• MailerLite — email delivery and subscriber management for purchasers and optional newsletter signups. See MailerLite's Privacy Policy.
• Calendly — coaching session scheduling. See Calendly's Privacy Policy.
• Vercel — website hosting. See Vercel's Privacy Policy.

Each provider processes data according to its own policy and only as needed to provide its service to us.

We know many people in this community share a phone, computer, or inbox. Workbook answers stay on your device unless you choose to email your results. If you receive email from us and your inbox is not private, delete the message when you are done reading. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any message.

We keep purchase and email records as long as needed to provide services, comply with law, and resolve disputes. Workbook progress in your browser can be cleared by deleting site data for this website in your browser settings.

To request deletion of personal information we hold (such as your email in our mailing list), email hello@preetjohal.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. Some records (such as payment receipts held by Stripe) may be retained where required by law.

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
