Terms of Service

By purchasing a product, booking a session, or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or make a purchase.

Preet Johal provides:

• Am I Being Abused? workbook — a one-time digital purchase (currently $10 USD) that gives you browser-based access to an interactive workbook, including a personalised Clarity Map and closing letter generated from your answers.
• 1:1 coaching — private video sessions, currently offered as a single 60-minute session ($250 USD) or a five-session bundle ($1,000 USD), scheduled through Calendly after payment.

Prices are shown at checkout and may change for future purchases. Applicable taxes may be added by the payment processor where required.

• Access is granted immediately after successful payment through Stripe.
• Your progress is saved in your browser's local storage on the device you use. Clearing browser data may remove your progress.
• A signed access cookie allows return visits for up to 90 days on the same browser. You may also use a return link sent to your email.
• The workbook is for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, or publicly share the workbook content.

• After payment, you will be directed to schedule your session(s) through Calendly.
• Sessions are conducted by video call at the time you book. You are responsible for joining from a private, safe location with a stable connection.
• Rescheduling: please reschedule at least 24 hours before your session through the link in your Calendly confirmation.
• Missed sessions: if you miss a session without adequate notice, that session may be forfeited without refund.
• Unused sessions in a bundle must be scheduled within twelve months of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Preet Johal is a relationship coach, not a licensed therapist, psychologist, lawyer, or medical provider. Our workbook and coaching offer education, reflection, and support — they are not a substitute for professional mental health care, legal advice, or medical treatment.

If you are in immediate danger, call your local emergency number. In the United States and Canada, you can also reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.

All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details on our servers. By completing checkout, you authorise Stripe to charge the amount shown for your selected product.

Digital workbook: because access is delivered immediately and the product is digital, all workbook sales are final once access is granted. If you believe there was a billing error or you were charged without receiving access, contact hello@preetjohal.com within 7 days and we will review your case.

Coaching: coaching fees are non-refundable once a session time is booked, except where required by law. If you have not yet scheduled your first session and need to cancel your purchase, contact us within 7 days of payment. Refunds are at our discretion for unused coaching packages that have not yet begun.

All content on this site — including the workbook, copy, images, Clarity Map templates, and coaching materials — is owned by Preet Johal or used under licence. You receive a limited, personal licence to use purchased digital products for yourself only.

The site and services are provided “as is.” We do not guarantee specific outcomes from the workbook or coaching. You are responsible for your own decisions and actions.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Preet Johal will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, workbook, or coaching. Our total liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that product.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia, Canada.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date will reflect changes. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
